Jared has spent his career connecting classrooms to careers. He started at Interapt, a Louisville software company, building workforce training programs in Eastern Kentucky. He moved to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, directing workforce development initiatives, then to the Partnership for New York City, leading a network of 200 executive members on career pathway work. Each step got closer to the same problem: education, workforce, and economic development kept operating as three separate systems. Through SquareOne, he built Catalyst to treat them as one. He also serves as Vice President of STEAM Engine and writes The SQ1 Pivot, a newsletter on the data and policy driving economic mobility.
